Daverman and Jacquelin Guerrier. She later came over to the states in 2001 at
the age of 6.
A Time to Learn
Vanessa went to Pompano Beach
Middle School and graduated with her
high school diploma from Blanche Ely
High School in 2012. She went off to
start college at Tallahassee Community
College in 2012, unfortunately due
complications with her health, she was unable to finish her
degree. She ended up leaving Tallahassee in 2015 to go back to
her hometown in hope to find better medical care. She applied
for Culinary School in 2018, but she went into crisis the first
week of school and was not allowed to continue the program.
She did not allow this to stop her from pursuing her dreams in
becoming a cook. She started an instagram page to display the
meals she created along with directions on how to prepare the
meals. She inspired everyone around her with her dedication.
