“Frank” and “Sam,” passed in peace
on Monday, October 12, 2020,
at the age of 77, surrounded by
family. He was born on March 24,
1943, in Ginger Hall, Jamaica,
to Louise Brown and Victor
Brown. He is the second of eleven
children, one of whom preceded
him in death.
He completed his education in Jamaica and
worked for several years at Alcan Jamaica Limited in
Mandeville, Alpart in Nain, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, and
also served in the Jamaican Army Reserve. After several
years, he migrated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he
worked in the eld of maintenance until he retired.
Frank enjoyed cooking, reading the newspaper, and
watching sports. His favorite teams were the Miami
Dolphins and Miami Heat. He loved and enjoyed his life
to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his family
and friends. He was a very friendly soul, which is evident
by the host of friends he leaves behind.
Francico leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings, Ivanhoe
Brown, Sylvester Brown, Esserence Brown-Walker, Durrant
Brown, Paul Brown, Camella Brown-Campbell, Icolene
Brown-Daley, Beverly Brown-Hardware, and Alexander
Brown; his children, Marcia Brown, Lance Brown, Francine
Brown, Marvin Brown, and Shellona Brown-Charles;
seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
